Dennis would have wanted it that way.

As most of you know, my nephew Dennis was shot and killed in the line of duty last night, at about 3 am. He was responding to an 'in progress burglary call' and was gunned down. There are still no clues yet as to finding the suspect, but we are hopeful. I will keep you informed as I hear. Please keep the family in your thoughts, things are going to be a mess for a little bit, so if you don't see much of me..you know why.

They have 3 people or what they are calling 'interesting persons' in custody and are questioning them.

Two voluntarily turned themselves in, and the third ran to the Summerville area and was arrested last night.
NONE of these people are being charged as of yet, they are only in for questioning at this time.

Wanda and Linda arrived last night, much of the rest of the family will be in today or tomorrow.
The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, with a viewing for Friday night. A cremation will be done after the services.
I personally still do not know the times of things but again..will keep you updated as I go.

People in this area are devistated..this is a mad and crazy world here right now, and the entire area is very 'hot' about this and want this or these killers brought to justice and quickly.

This is one case you'll see me in court for.

Will update when I can.

I'm still in shock. I am in there in spirit. I wish I could be there with you but I'll do what I can from here. Call me at any hour if you need me. Please express my condolences to Linda, Tony and the rest of the family.

And Chris told me to send you his sympathy too.

Btw: When I was at work last night, I googled Dennis's name looking for info and there are several police sites that have it posted and several people have left messages of condolences.

I may be on the way in waiting on the heads up from Jason. And I will be stopping by if you don't mind Synn. I'm like LF just plain shocked. Please keep us updated when you can. I haven't called because I figure your phone has been nonstop as is.

We love you!

I finally got them to play. Tony did a great job. I don't know how he held it together as well as he did.

Thanks again for the links.

He held it together, cuz..no matter what he said he IS mad! Anger can do much.

I can't give any updates yet on the investigation..we know very little more at this time, but trust me, when I know..you'll know.
It's not over till the fat lady cries..and that would be me..I'm like Tony..MAD!

Seriously..no updates as of yet..they still have 'persons of interest' in custody and are still speaking with them....other people have been brought in for questioning...but no new leads.

Will update later
