They're talking about that whitish thing on the left-hand side of the picture? I don't think that's a ghost at all. My camera gets stuff like that all the time, it all depends on how the light reflects around the room. Besides, digital cameras are notorious for what they call "artifacts." Maybe if the thing in pic was a little more clear, or brighter, I'd say they had something there.

Look again. They're talking about the hand on the railing, beside the whitish area.
